Day 1.
Arrive Arusha town and overnight in a relaxing hotel. Enjoy an
African dinner in peaceful surroundings.
Day 2.
Travel in a 4x4 to the remote plains where the Hadzabe hunter gatherers
live. Their settlements are not permanent. We will learn about their
hut construction and how and why they move. In the afternoon go
for a walk learning Hadzabe bush lore and their uses of different
plants. Sleep in tents close to the settlement
Day 3.
Arise at dawn to attend a Hadzabe hunt. We are unlikely to see
a kill but you will be able to follow Hadzabe trackers and learn
of their skills and the many foods they harvest from the bush. In
the evening we will provide dinner, a goat, to which our Hadzabe
hosts will be invited.
Day 4.
Return to town and onto the next stage of your journey.

Tanzania
has one of the largest areas of protected lands in the world. It
houses the largest Game Reserve on the continent (Selous) and its
most famous national park (the Serengeti), not to mention the famous
Ngorongoro Crater considered being the eighth wonder of the world.
