Wildlife Safaris

NORTHERN PARKS.
These are the most frequented safari destinations because they are fairly close to one another, and most of them are truly attractive. It is possible to tour the entire circuit by vehicle in a relatively short time. The circuit is renowned for some of the most spectacular parks like Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Manyara, Tarangire and Arusha National Park. Each park has its unique features that will fascinate you and make your safari a lifetime experience. Most safaris in this region start from Arusha and Moshi which are the main tourist hubs in northern Tanzania.

SOUTHERN PARKS.

Situated in southern Tanzania these parks are less visited as compared to the Northern parks because they are far apart from one another. This means that it takes many hours to travel from one park to another. However, with 4WD vehicles or Air Services arranged by Rift Cross safaris, you can opt to visit a selected park or all the Southern Parks at a go and have the adventure of your own by visiting places which few have been to. This zone consists of such magnificent parks as Mikumi, Ruaha, Selous Game Reserve, Katavi and Udzungwa Mountain. These are undiscovered treasures of Tanzania that many miss to explore by frequenting the well known parks in the north. Having fewer visitors, the area offers privacy and time to reflect as well as enjoying the diversity of nature.
